Snow Patrol Copenhagen Denmark - Pictures and Videos

A while ago I went to see snow patrol when they visited Denmark May 22nd, so this is way over do..hehe. Anyway, like the last time I went to see them, there wasn’t many that had turned up early. We came around 3 a’ clock and only 7 was in front of us. Nice! At one point me and my sister when around the back to get to the toilets and we saw Pablo, on the way back we wanted to get a picture and maybe an autograph, but as we approached him, his phone rang, Typical. He gave us this apologizing face/smile, that was sweet. The show was great, they always put on a fantastic show. The place was packed as well. I honestly don’t know where they came from, cuz when we stood in line, there weren’t that many…Gary was his funny old self and interacted with the crowd as he does best. He’s such a great guy. We stood front and center again. Lucky us! The gig went by so fast, they played all their singles, I was hoping for more of an old school Snow Patrol, but I guess since it’s an “up to now” tour, they play what people know. After the show we went backstage to wait for the guys, we waited with a couple of girls. I think an hour past, tops, then I saw Gary go into this black car with a mystery woman. The car drove up to us and Gary came out. He gave autographs and took pictures with everyone. Such a great guy and really nice too. He really took his time, and made sure everyone got what they wanted. At one point he asked if anyone needed anything else, and this girl randomly shuck his hand. Lol. That was so hilarious. He said that the other boys would come out, but me and my sister had a train to catch. Suck! But what an amazing night!! Can’t wait to see them again.

Here are some of the pictures, you can see the rest and bigger versions at my flickr account below =D

Thanks sweetie :D yeah the lighting was amazing, so pretty!
I'm sorry you didn't get to see them this time, maybe next year. I heard the Berlin gig was great as well :D

:D:D:D I haven't had a chance to watch any of the videos yet, but the pictures are FANTASTIC!! Incredibly jealous; when they were in Seattle last the whole band seemed to be in a really bad way, because Paul was the only one to stick around after the show, and he was rather tipsy. I wanted my sweaty Gary hug, darn it! ♥

But yes, these pictures are absolutely gorgeous. Red suits Gary quite well... :D

*and on a slightly unrelated note, have you heard the new Snow Patrol song? They played it at their massive Ward Park show maybe last weekend? I forget when exactly. "Big Broken" is what it's called, and ohhh myyy, it's so very pretty. I tried getting my other Snow Patrol buddies amped up on it, but they weren't nearly as dazzled as I was, so I figured I'd share with another hardcore Patroller ;)

That sucks...Hopefully you’ll get to see them all the next time. Yeah Pablo always seem to have a drink in his hand...hehe!

Thanks sweetie. I took my SLD camera with me this time. They weren’t allowed, but I guess they didn't care enough to take mine, thank god.

I agree, red looks really really good on him <333

Yep I've heard it, and it's beautiful. I really like it, can't wait to hear a better version of it. But I doubt they'll play it at another gig....It's getting me more and more excited for the new album next year. I'm so grateful that Gary has his side project Tired Pony, so we have some Gary-music in the little break.

Thanks for commenting XD

Gotta say I really like your story, photos and videos! Actually, I just realized that I'd already stumbled upon your videos from that gig on Youtube a while ago and they just made me smile! Gary's banter seemed to be top-notch that night! The part about his part-time lover Nathan before they played "Crack the shutters" just cracked me up. Poor Nate's always teased before or during that song, love it. :D
Your photos also turned out SO well! They remind me a lot on the first gig in Amsterdam, Gary wore that red shirt there as well! :)
By the way, I kinda "know" the girl who's been at the gig in Copenhagen with her sisters and her mum, she's already told me a bit about the gig. Loved their idea with the "Gary/Nathan marry me"-banners. Gary's reaction's so hilarious! :D There's also one photo of one of her little sisters and her banner where Nate's kneeling beside her... It's so uber-cute, it just warms your heart. :)

Thank you XD Yeah he really was in top form as far as banter goes ;D

I think Nathan secretly loves it...hehe

Yeah it was a great idea, thinking about making a banner the next time too, just to see what kind of reaction I'll get.

Really, I haven’t seen that, where did you find it????
